Ron Hemby is widely recognized as one of the finest vocalists in the history of The Imperials. His contributions, alongside fellow team members, played a crucial role in shaping the group's sound during the late 1980s, particularly with the release of the 1987 album This Year's Model. This album marked a significant evolution for The Imperials, introducing a more pronounced rock influence that resonated with a new generation of fans.

One of the standout tracks, "Power of God," showcased Ron's distinctive vocal talent and became the anthem for the renowned Power Team. This song not only defined a moment in the group’s history but also attracted younger audiences back to The Imperials' concerts, reinvigorating their fan base.

Following his tenure with The Imperials, Ron Hemby continued his musical journey by joining the Buffalo Club. He is currently a member of The Eaglemaniacs, where he remains active in the music scene. In addition to his singing career, Ron serves as a worship leader at River of Life Church in the Nashville area, further exemplifying his commitment to music and ministry.
